Council Access Portal - Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my profile private?

The system that runs the Council Access Portal has many features that are currently not being utilized by the Nashville Health Care Council. One of those features is the ability to have profiles public for other members to view. In order to best address the needs of all of our members, we have chosen to keep all profiles private (once we make one profile public, all profiles become public). However, all members still have access to our Membership Directory.

If I work for a Council member company, how do I get a profile within the Council Access Portal?

As an employee of a Council member company, you have the ability to register yourself as a New User of the portal*. To do so, please follow these instructions:

  1. Click here to access the list of Council member companies.
  2. Once you locate the company you work for, click on it and it will bring you to a registration page.
  3. You will be asked to provide your username (your work e-mail address), as well as your first and last name.
  4. Then click the ‘Continue’ button and follow the remaining instructions by filling out your profile.

*All added profiles go through Council review processing to verify employment.

Under the Information & Settings section, when I click on the My Preferences link it doesn't take me anywhere. Why does it try to load the page but never end up on the My Preferences page?

The Nashville Health Care Council has pre-set the user preferences under the “My Preferences” section. This is not a feature that is currently in use.
